How do I shop at UK Military Gifts?

Shopping at UK Military Gifts could not be easier. Just browse our shop, click on any items that you wish to buy, including any engraving and additional information about you order and put them into your basket.

After you have finished your selection, click 'Checkout' on the right hand side of the site (your basket) to be taken to your purchases. Choose the correct shipping zone from the dropdown list, click on  'Checkout' , and you will be taken to our secure checkout page where you can give us your details and pay for your order.

 How do I pay for my order?

The final part of our Checkout stage, after you have entered your address, is to choose how you would like to pay for your order. You can either pay online with your credit or debit card using our secure  128 bit secure server (Realex) , or via PayPal, where you can pay using your PayPal account (if you have one) or any credit or debit card. All of these platforms offer you the most safe and convenient ways of paying for your order.

Are my credit card details safe?

Yes. For your peace of mind we use only recognised companies to process our online payments. Our payment service provider HSBC global payments (Realex) are trusted by thousands of companies and provide the safest means available today of shopping on the internet. The payment service provider processes your payment and perform security checks before telling us your payment has been accepted.
 We are fully PCI compliant as we do not have access/nor store any card details for your peace of mind.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Yes, you can. We do accept payments with PayPal. Simply choose this payment method at the Checkout to be transferred to the secure PayPal site. You can then pay safely with your PayPal account, or directly with any credit or debit card.

Can I pay by personal cheque?

Yes, we do accept payments by cheque from UK customers only. Place your order and and choose cheque at the checkout. Please make the cheque in GBP.Please remember there will be a delay in posting your order whilst we wait for the cheque to clear.Please print out your order details and send it together with the cheque. 

Can I order by phone?

No, we would prefer if you ordered on the website, but you can pay by telephone, just opt for Telephone payment when completing the checkout.

Why haven't I received an email regarding my order?

There are usually two reasons why you are not receiving email notifications. You may have submitted an outdated email address (or an address with a typo) with your order, or you may have a spam blocker filtering out emails from our system. In this instance simply email us from your current account to check on your order status. Also try turning off any spam blockers that may be preventing  messages from getting to you.

Can I amend my order or add extra items after I have checked out?

No, once the order has been received and paid for, we no longer have any payment details for extra items to be charged.You can amend the text, if you have made a mistake, but this needs to be done asap.

Which currency do you use?

We use British Pounds (GBP) and all prices on our site are shown in this currency. If you would like to convert prices to Euros or US Dollars, please click the currency converter to change the display. Payments are also taken in GBP Sterling. If you are purchasing from outside the UK the GBP price will be converted to your own currency by your card processor.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship to Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand If you're not sure if we ship to your country, please contact us before placing your order.Please do not ask for the gift to be sent to a PO box number as card companies to not accept PO Box addresses, neither do we.The only exception is for military personnel using BFPO.

Do you offer a next day delivery service?

No, as we engrave to order and have found in the past by offering next day delivery, this was causing other orders to be delayed as we stopped to do the next day delivery orders and thought it was unfair on these customers who had ordered in plenty of time.

I live outside the European Union. Will I pay custom duties?

Customers from countries outside the EU may be liable to pay custom duties on items purchased in the UK depending on the items destination. Any purchase made on this website are governed by UK law, regardless of where the order was placed. We have no control over any such duties levied. Import duties will vary from country to country and it is your responsibility to pay for such duties. If you are not sure how this affects you please contact your local custom office for further information before purchasing the item.

Why is the credit/debit card option not showing on the payment page?

The main reason is because you are trying to place the order whilst at work, many companies have filters to stop any payments being made by credit/debit cards.The only option is to place the order later on your home computer or use the other options of paypal, cheque or telephone.

What are loyalty points?

Loyalty points are awarded very time you order from UK Military Gifts, these can be accumilated and redeemed on any future purchases allowing you a discount as such.You will need to 'register' by creating an account (my account)
found on the right hand side of the front page, this is then linked to the points you have earned on any purchases, the points will stay on your account until you want to redeeem them.They can be redeemed when you reach 50 points.
